Natural Area Drive needs repaving
There are cracks and indentions in the sidewalk behind the University Auditorium. There is a lot of foot traffic around that building when there are events held there.

Although this sidewalk is to the side of the Phillips Center, I think the foot traffic on a night when there is an event could justify fixing the sidewalk.
Physicians and other highly educated/scholastic medical personnel are expected to not slip and fall on the grass at the end of the crosswalk.

The parking lot beside the Bat House across from Lake Alice has an enormous erosion problem taking part of the parking lot driveway with it.
at every entrance to UF that has a brick and mortar sign with lights needs to be checked for burnt-out lights. They all have one or more light(s) burnt out.

This picture is of Mowry Road and Hull Road intersection. The surface has a noticeable slope/drop-off that needs repair with an extra layer of asphalt before it becomes a serious problem.

The top of the fence is barb wire and it is so old that many strands have become loose or broken and it looks dangerous.

The lines were not finished toward the stop sign. The crosswalks were done, yet not the yellow lines. Tens of thousands of people use that area every Spring semester because of the sporting events.
Is there something that UF can do to make Fifield Building more visible and presentable?

Aside from the sign out front a person would not be able to tell you what building that is under that canopy.

UF College of Dentistry
The sign attached to Shands Hospital (seen going east on Archer Road) with ‘UF College of Dentistry’ has some real discoloration problems. Should not happen at UF, especially with such visibility.

There is a small sign under the tobacco sign (going east onto the beginning of Hull Road from 34th Street) that is indecipherable. Is it a left-over from the past?

It was addressed. Someone painted it without scraping the peeling paint. The peeling paint needs to be scraped first, then painted.

Natural Area Drive is old and has been patched several times in different places. It really needs to be re-paved.

The University of Florida Gymnastics won three (3) National Titles, consecutively, and the recognition on the outside of the O’Connell Center is to the side of the building behind some trees beside the handicapped parking. I am not sure of what the problem is, yet they should have recognition on the outside in front of the Stephen O’Connell Center.
sw 11th street between sw 8th and 9th avenue (sororties)
Going the speed limit (20 MPH going from the south to north direction) is like the video of the driver in Canada! Can it be fixed/repaired? It may be the city’s responsibility, yet students and P.K. Younge individuals travel it by the 100’s if not over 1,000 vehicles every day bouncing up and down and their vehicles bottoming out.

This is another pothole that needs asphalt and/or some other answer to prevent motor vehicles from cutting the corner to sharply.

This pothole is quite large and needs a lot of asphalt to prevent anymore deterioration of both roads.
Large Brick & Mortar sign blocked by lower tree limbs
The top of the very large sign is not visible by the street or by the sidewalk. It needs some re-lettering and the lower limbs of the tree, blocking the sign, need to be trimmed or cut away to make it visible to drivers passing by.

There are numerou bricks that need a brick mason. It has been like that for well over 2 years. One area is right beside the ‘Office of the Dean of Architecture and Fine Arts Library’ sign.
Sidewalk up to Fine Arts Sign has a hole in it.
The sidewalk has a hole in the middle of it and it is a nice size hole that a student looking at their cellphone could trip on.
Can UF remove that eyesore?
Obviously, the bench is not used and the best option is to just remove it.
Little Hall needs a Brick Layer
There are numerous places around the parking lot side of Little Hall where the bricks are missing.

I submitted an application to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) on May 25, 2020, for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) for independent contractors. Tallahassee kept delaying my application. I met with the director of the Gainesville Career Resource Center three times for twenty minutes each, but I didn’t get any help. Since my paperwork hasn’t been finalized in five years, Florida says it’s too late for me to claim the $11,700 I was eligible for ($600 per week plus an additional $300 from March to October 2020).
