about us

Our Mission

Dear valued visitor,

My name is Tim McLaurin and I am pleased to introduce to you RepairUF.net, a website designed to address areas around campus that require repairs and or much needed maintenance. Our goal is to ensure that all areas around the main campus and beyond are in top-notch condition for students, faculty, and visitors. Thanks to the support of numerous individuals, RepairUF.net has registered huge success since its establishment back in 2021. UF has been able to repair and fix multiple areas, and we have listed several completed ‘work orders’ under ‘Finished Projects’.

We value your contribution to the success of the project. If you know of any areas in dire need of repair, kindly reach out to us via email. We look forward to your support, and we promise to continue our efforts towards bettering the University of Florida campus and beyond. Thank you.

GO GATORS

The following 'Statement' is not about RepairUF.net yet for my own personal situation

On May 25, 2020, I applied for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program for independent contractors with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO). My application faced numerous delays, and I received no help from the local Career Resource Center in Gainesville, even after sitting down with the director on three different occasions for 20 minutes each time over the course of numerous months. Now, Florida has informed me that it’s too late to claim the total $11,700 I was eligible for, which includes $600 per week and an additional $300 from March to October 2020. They haven’t processed my paperwork in five years and, of course, say I can’t recover these funds now.  They did not want to do the paperwork 5 or 4 or 3 or 2 or 1 year ago and they still do not want to do the paperwork!   Are there any lawyers who handle cases like this? If so, please contact me at Tim@FloridaDEOdidNotPay.com
